Day 1: Amman Queen Alia International Airport 

Welcome to Jordan! 

Upon arrival you will be met by a local representative who will assist you through visa formalities. Once you have gathered all of your luggage, you will be transferred to your hotel. After check-in, the rest of the day is at leisure.

 

* Depending on your flight time, Amman City Tour can be arranged in case of early arrival time[ before noon time].


Day 2: Amman - Pella - Um Qais 

Checkout after breakfast and head north to Pella, Pella is exceptionally rich in antiquities, some of which are exceedingly old. The ruins of Pella portray a dramatic sweep of history, from the Bronze and Iron Ages through to the Ummayeds and Mamluks.

Continue heading  to the north-western corner of Jordan, in the hills above the Jordan Valley, are the ruins of the Decapolis city of Gadara (now called Umm Qais). Located at a tremendous vantage point, with views of three countries (Jordan, Syria, and the Holy-land), encompassing the Golan Heights, Mt Hermon and the Sea of Galilee; hence  its an ideal location for hiking,  A chance for you to hike over the rolling hills of Umm Qais and get to connect with nature and learn about the history of the place. The ‘painted picture’ landscapes of Umm Qais and diversity of its flora and fauna makes hiking an exceptional experience.

the trail takes around 1.5 hrs. including  professional hiking guide , walking sticks , binoculars , tea and water. Back to Um Qais for dinner & Overnight.

 

Day 3: Um Qais - Ajloun [Orjan Trail] - Ajloun

After Breakfast check out and head to Ajloun Castle , The fortress is built upon the apex of the hill above Ajloun, and offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside. Then you’ll be transferred to Ajloun nature reserve where you’ll start Orjan hiking Trail, from the Soap House, you’ll hike through wooded valleys to the lush green orchards of Orjan village, giving you the chance to discover the rural lifestyle of the region. A poplar-lined spring provides a wonderful contrast to the arid mountains, you’ll have an accompanying guide, brunch and water. After the trail you’ll be picked up and transferred to the Cabins in the forest for dinner & overnight.

Day 4:  Ajloun - Anjara - Tell Mar Elias -  Jerash - Dead Sea

After a wonderful Jordanian breakfast you’ll start your day with a short stop at Anjara, at the modern sanctuary of Our Lady of the Mountain Church - a rebuilt cave that is venerated as a place where Jesus and his mother Mary passed during their journeys. Afterwards head to Tell Mar Elias, very close to the ruins of a village known as Listib, the home of Elijah.

Then your tour will continue to the Roman City of Jerash , it became an urban center during the 3rd century BC and a member of the federation of Greek cities known as the Decapolis ("ten cities" in Greek). Jerash prospered during the 1st century BC as a result of its position on the incense and spice trade route from the Arabian Peninsula to Syria and the Mediterranean region.

After wandering the city you’ll be transferred to the lowest point on earth the Dead Sea, check in at the resort and spend a relaxing calm night. 

 

 Day 5: Dead Sea - Madaba - Mt. Nebo - Dana Reserve

Free Morning to dip into the slaty water or take a mud bath,

at around 11:00am you’ll check out and head to visit the mosaic city of Madaba, The chief attraction in this city is a wonderfully vivid, sixth century Byzantine mosaic map showing Egypt, Jerusalem and the Holy Land, preserved in St. George Church.

Later, your cultural discovery brings you to Mt. Nebo believed to be the burial site of Prophet Moses. If the weather allows you will have like him a view of the Holy-Land.

Via the Kings highway your drive reaches to Dana nature reserve check in at the cabins dinner & overnight.


Day 6: Dana Reserve - Shobak Castle - Petra

Starting your day at Dana is a blessing, the scenery is breathtaking, mountains, rock formation, air quality,  even flora and fauna are unique, The reserve contains several hiking trails that  you’ll join one of them , for 2 hours you’ll be lead through the rugged terrain that offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

In addition to hiking, visitors can explore the local culture by visiting the nearby Dana Village and experiencing the traditional Bedouin lifestyle.

Afternoon you’ll head to Petra but on the way you’ll stop at Shobak Castle, you can explore the castle ruins, including its fortifications, preserved walls and arches, and castle interiors. From the top of the castle, enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Continue to Petra overnight.

Day 7: Petra - Wadi Rum

Enjoy a full day of wandering the ‘Rose City' of Petra, an incredible collection of tombs and temples carved into pink sandstone walls dating to 300BC. The main path from the Treasury opens out to a wider valley lined with tombs, caves and a small amphitheater cut into the rock face.
 In the afternoon transfer to Wadi Rum desert. Enjoy Wadi Rum at sunset before enjoying a locally-prepared feast around the campfire, followed by a restful night's sleep.

 

Day 8: Wadi Rum - Amman 

Early Morning , jump on a 4×4 with your Bedouin driver uncover more of the vast desert. The tour includes a hiking trail to Am Al Dami mountain, watching as the scenery changes from craggy hills to a wider expanse of open desert interspersed by rocky outcrops. Wadi Rum is like the landscape of another planet, a series of dramatic rocky mounds, joined by valleys of sand that stretch for miles toward a hazy distant horizon. 

Afterwards, return to the capital Amman for overnight.


Day 9: Transfer to Queen Alia International Airport 

After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Amman (hotel check-out is before 11:00 am). Free time at your leisure then transfer to Amman international airport according to your flight details.
